A Gift In Memory

Honour a loved one through a donation in lieu of flowers at a funeral or memorial service.

Losing someone you love or care about to GI cancer is very difficult but sometimes these final moments can make a lasting difference to others. In lieu of flowers, please consider In Memory donations.

You can honour a loved one by supporting innovative research and helping to find improved treatments for the 28,900 Australians diagnosed with GI cancer each year.

Each donation is displayed on your page along with any messages of love and support from family and friends.  If you wish, donations can be directed to a specific area of GI cancer research.

If you would like to request donation envelopes for a funeral service, please contact us at info@gicancer.org.au or phone 1300 666 769.

About the GI Cancer Institute

The GI Cancer Institute aims to improve the survival rates of people diagnosed with GI cancer by conducting research that is centred on patient care. We conduct clinical trials which are designed to find better treatments for these cancers.

Clinical trials are studies that explore the impact of new or existing approaches to health care. They give Australian patients access to potentially life saving treatment 3-5 years earlier than if the trial was to take place overseas. The support of our donors is so important to ensure the increased survival rate for these cancers.
